You have been stranded on a planet where everyone is 18 or under. Journal your experience.

Day 1: When I awoke, I saw that I was stranded on a strange planet. As I looked around, I soon discovered that everyone here was 18 years old or younger.

I’m not sure how I got here, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to return to my home planet. The circumstance is making me feel a little anxious and overpowered, but I’m determined to make the most of it.

Day 3: On the planet, I’ve begun to establish a routine. The youngsters I’ve met have welcomed me into their society and have been quite helpful in explaining their way of life to me.

They have clearly established their own culture and way of life, and I find the contrasts and parallels between our two worlds to be fascinating.

Day 7: I’m beginning to appreciate how special and fascinating the teenagers’ world is as I spend more time with them.

It is evident that they have a strong sense of community and belonging because they have formed their own language, traditions, and way of life.

They have accepted me into their world despite the fact that I am an outsider and have been patient in helping me comprehend their way of life.

Day 14: Despite the difficulties of being marooned on an unfamiliar planet, I am beginning to value the chance to learn from and develop with the teenagers here.

They have a distinct viewpoint on the world, and their vigor and joie de vivre are contagious. I am appreciative of the warmth and compassion they have shown me and am beginning to feel like I belong in their community.

Day 21: I am starting to realize how much I have gained from the teenagers here as the weeks go by. They have taught me the value of community, perseverance, and creativity.

I’ve gained a greater appreciation for life’s little pleasures and a clearer grasp of what it means to be a part of something greater than oneself.

Day 30: As I think back on my time on this weird planet, I’m amazed at how much I’ve evolved and matured. I’ve developed strong bonds with the teenagers here, and I’m sorry to be leaving them as I get ready to head back to my home planet.

While I am eager to get back home, I will always be appreciative of the time I spent here and the lessons I picked up from the extraordinary young people who inhabit this world.
